This privacy policy informs you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of the website of Ben Ramhofer Consulting (hereinafter "we" and "us").

Personal data according to Article 4 of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is any information relating directly or indirectly to a natural person.

2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing of personal data

a. Use of the website
When visiting the websites accessible under the domain ramhofer.de, we collect the following data to ensure the functionality of the website:
- IP address of the device used when calling up, e.g. notebook, tablet, smartphone,
- Visited website,
- Date and time of access,
- Amount of data transmitted,
- Website from which you accessed the page (referrer),
- Description of the type of browser used.
The processing of this browser data is technically necessary and takes place in order to provide you with the website. The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject).

We generally retain the described data for a period of 7 days, after which it is deleted. The data is stored to defend against cyberattacks and to make it available in the event of possible criminal prosecution. In the event of a cyber attack, we retain the data for the purpose of preserving evidence until the respective incident has been concluded. The legal basis for the processing described above is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller) and Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR (processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation of the controller). Our legitimate interest is to ensure sufficient security and stability of our website.

b. Contact
You can contact us, for example, by e-mail, postal mail and telephone. Should you decide to contact us, we will process the personal data you provide, e.g. e-mail address, postal address, telephone number. In the event that you provide us with additional personal data in your inquiry, e.g. as the content of the e-mail, we also process this in order to be able to answer your inquiry in the best possible way.

We keep your inquiries for two years and delete them afterwards.

The legal basis for the collection of your data in the context of contacting you is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject), if a contractual relationship is intended or already exists. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller of the respective data collection), if no contractual relationship exists or is intended, e.g. if the contact is of a general nature. In the latter case, our legitimate interest is to respond to your request in a reasonable manner.

3. Recipients of the personal data

a. Web hosting and e-mail communication
For the provision of our website and for communication via e-mail, we use dogado GmbH, Antonio-Segni-Straße 11, D-44263 Dortmund. We have concluded an data processing agreement with dogado GmbH in accordance with Article 28 (3) GDPR.

4. Data subject rights
If your personal data is processed by us, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR; "right to be forgotten"), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data by us with a data protection supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you is carried out unlawfully. 5. Notice regarding your right to object to processing
If your personal data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest within the framework of the balance of interests pursuant to Art. 6 para.1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to contact us at any time and object to the processing.
